The original! Our Cataract Blade is made of high-density structural polyurethane. We cast this blade in a mold around a core of lightweight composite tubing (like our shafts) to obtain a finished blade that is very lightweight, strong, and buoyant. This blade is detachable from the shaft. An optional tip protector is available for this blade model.
